Women IN God’s Service

Women in God’s Service, or WinGs, is the Titus 2 based women’s ministry at Mt. Pleasant Community Church. We are the “team”! Our role in the game is to carry out the visions and priorities of the church, while working under God’s leadership and the leadership of the church.

We are a ministry that seeks to encourage and equip women from all ages and stages in life, to faithfully use their God-given gifts to glorify Him.  We seek to lift up, encourage and inspire women to be the hands and feet of Christ within our church and our community.  To grow our faith and demonstrate His love and grace through Christ centered relationships with one another.

Please join us in service, fellowship, love and laughter, as we grow together to further the Kingdom of God.

Purpose:  Women Serving as a helpmeet to the Eldership; reinforcing the vision of Christ’s Transforming Community and striving toward the MPCC mission statement; “Be disciples who make disciples.”

To ensure that that the assigned duties and priorities of the MPCC leadership is carried out, WinGS is divided into the following ministries.

Current Members Ministry

Purpose:  To reach and transform our church community by caring for the church flock through monitoring attendance of the body, by encouraging and promoting LTGs, assimilating people to use their gifts and talents and providing for the needs of MPCC members in areas of mercy, benevolence, showers, receptions, funerals and respite care.

Visitors Ministry

Purpose:  To devise and implement a process for visitors at MPCC so that new people might choose to become a part of the body of Christ to worship with us, serve and be served, fellowship, grow and learn as disciples and be shepherded among the flock.

Women’s Ministry

Purpose:  Provide discipleship opportunities through establishing pathways, in which women can grow together, grow in Christ, minister to one another and provide service to others.
